Do you know how to wish?- Candy#1

ఏదైనా భాష నేర్చుకునే ముంది alphabets నేర్చుకోవడం ఆనవాయితి. కానీ spoken language నేర్చుకునే ముందు మొట్టమొదట నేర్పించేది wish చెయ్యడమే. ఎందుకంటే spoken language అనేది real life తో interact అవ్వడానికి ఉపయోగిస్తాం. మరి ఆ real life interaction లో మొట్టమొదట ఎవరినైనా కలిసినప్పుడు మనం చేసే పని wish చెయ్యడమే కనుక spoken language ను wish తో మొదలు పెడతారు. That's why నేను కూడా నా ఈ బ్లాగును wishesతో మొదలుపెడుతున్నా.

ఎవరినైనా కలిసినప్పుడు Hi, Hello, Good Morning తో మొదలుపెడతాం. ఇది quite common. దీనిలో learning ఏముంది అనుకోవచ్చు. But ఈ మొట్టమొదటి wish ఒక First impression కలిగిస్తుంది. దీనిలో మర్యాదలని follow చెయ్యకపోతే పోయారు, కనీసం ఆ మర్యాదలేంటో తెలుసుకుంటే అదే పదివేలు . Because  first impression is the best impression. So, let's start our journey with a sample conversation.

చందు: Hi Suresh, Good morning,
- ఎదుటి వ్యక్తికి ఏదైన suffix ఉంటే వాడొచ్చు. పేరు తెలిస్తే అది వాడటం అన్ని విధాలా  శ్రేయస్కరం. మనకన్నా పెద్దవారు కదా పేరు పెట్టి పిలిస్తే బాగోదేమో అని పొరపాటున కూడా మొహమాట పడొద్దు. (Don't be hesitated).  Professor, Doctor లాంటి వారైతే Hi Professor, Hi Doctor  అని పిలవచ్చు.
సురేశ్: Hi Chandu, Good morning. How are you?
చందు : I am good. Thank you. How about you? .
- English culture లో మూడు ముఖ్యమైన పదాలు తరచుగా వినిపిస్తూ ఉంటాయి. వాటిలో Thank you ఒకటి. మన భారతీయ సంప్రదాయంలో Thank you కి బాగా విలువుంటుంది. విశేషమైన అవసరం ఉంటే తప్ప మనం వాడం. కానీ ఇక్కడ Observe చేస్తే How are you అడిగినందుకు ప్రతి సంస్కారంగా Thank you అని వాడాము.

ఇక్కడ ఇంకో ప్రయోగం కూడా వాడుకలో ఉంటుంది. రోజూ కలిసేవారిని how are you  అనకుండా How do you do?  అనికూడా అడగచ్చు. కానీ దానికి ప్రతి సమాధానం How do you do?  అవుతుంది. ఇక్కడ voiceలో విభిన్నతని చూపించాల్సి ఉంటుంది(Never use flat voice here). Question tag లా కాకుండా ఒక response లా చెప్పాల్సిఉంటుంది. ఇది శుద్ధంగా మాట్లాడుకునే భాష. సినిమాలు చూసేటప్పుడు వాళ్ళు Colloquial language వాడుతుండటం మీరు గమనించే ఉంటారు. సాధారణంగా Howdy?  అంటుంటారు. ఇది How do you do కి హ్రస్వ రూపం(Contraction).

Note : short sentences భాషకు అందాన్ని చేకూరుస్తాయి. అవసరమైతే వీటిని by heart చేసైనా సరే గుర్తుపెట్టుకోండి. ఒకటి రెండు సార్లు వాడిన తరువాత by heart అవసరం కూడా ఉండదు.
